For what it's worth, one of my friends had a boyfriend who dropped to one knee and presented her with a ring box. Inside, instead of a ring, there was a note that said, "April Fools!!"

Best April Fool's prank I pulled? We called J's parents and told him I was pregnant. I know that sounds awful, but his parents are really chill and actually got all excited about it, even after he said "and we want to move back in with you so you can help us raise it".
