Hey it's Friday - which means it's Photo Friday. And I'm glad for that because really? notime i'mSUPERstressed andbarelyhadalunchbreak.

Woo! Look how tan I am!
I can't remember exactly when this picture was taken. Maybe one of my friends will tell me later. I think either the summer before or the summer after my freshman year in college. So 2000/2001ish. Give or take a chunk of my memory. Yeah it runs away sometimes.
Moving on. These people are some of my bestests. Hopefully they won't be mad at me for posting this, but I digress. Several of them are married. Their weddings, beautiful. I miss them all dearly. They're spread out across the country (my friend Nate moved to Hollywood even!), but through the wonders of facebook/myspace I keep in touch with a few of them still. Jenn (in the green tank) and I call each other a few times a week. She moved out to Columbus for a few years but then back to Erie for a job. I tell her all the time to move back. I miss her!
I get sad when I look at this sometimes (it's in my office still in the same frame I got it in for a birthday present from Kristy & Lisa), but mostly just sad because I miss them. Sad that I spent the majority of my high school years frolicking with a boy who in the long run meant nothing. That is one of the very few regrets I have. Hold on to your friends and cherish the time you can spend with them. Because soon you'll all be off and married, with kids of your own wishing you could go back to those days of slumber parties, bonfires, and underage drinking. Oh the memories.

Aw, what a nice looking group. I think I need to start this "flashback friday" business. I have some good material. My best friend just sent me a picture from freshman year of college when I was in HMS Pinafore...tempting... HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
aww..so great that you had such a large group of close friends, girls AND guys..that's pretty rare...
I loooove the room you guys are in. It's so perfect for a flashback picture
I miss my bestests. Now I'm all melancholy and sentimental, and it's all your fault. :p I jest. I heart you! You look so cute in this picture, I want to shrink you and keep you in my pocket.
oh i've got so many of these kinds of pics...back before digi cams were available and you had to develop a whole roll of film. so much fun to look back and reminisce! have a faboo wkend!
Amen, woman. I love pictures like this, of the whole group, some you keep in touch with, some you don't . . . I have a lot of pics like this where it's like 12 of my best friends and then one random person I don't know. And I agree with Lisa. That room is the perfect setting for a flashback photo.
Thanks for the peek into your past!
I have a lot of pictures like this too, from around the beginnings of college when we would come home for the summer and have to make the most of our few months together.
Have a great weekend!
Aww. I love besties. I spent my entire college froliking with a guy. Fortunately I married him.
p.s. You have pretty hair.
p.p.s. I'm not saying that with my creep voice either.
"...and underage drinking."
Haha!
flash backs are fun. I am friends with most of my freshman college friends as well. they are also almost all married
It's so cool that you have such a great group of friends....cherish them is right...
Great post! Most of my closest friends are from junior high and high school. I don't know what I'd do without them!

Cute! Such fine late 90s / early 00s fashion right there...
Now I miss my high school buddies, too.

hope you are feeling better, girl.
ive been reading your facebook updates and your blog...and life really just isn't fair.
been there. it hurts.
no one can really say anything to make you feel any better about the situation so i won't attempt to...
but little by little, it gets a little easier to breathe each day.
