There's just something about getting your hair just right that puts an extra bounce in your step. Know what I mean? I'm having one of those days today and after spending some quality time with the beau, I am in a fabulous mood.
"New" steam curlers from Clancy's mom this weekend. They're old school but seriously they work better than any curlers I've ever used before.
Rollers in...
Makes for a great hair day!
Off to work in style. And in a new print dress ;)
Oh and another thing that can make your day? Packages. Got Trish's book in the mail, can't wait to crack it open. Oh the perks of knowing the author! Thanks for the copy and congrats on it hitting shelves early!

My mom had curlers just like that! But she never had curly hair...What the heck was she wearing them for...?
Anyhow, your curls look cute. :)
Super cute hair! I love the old school rollers - did they take forever to heat up? I remember using them when I was younger - waiting for the black dot to turn red was forever a wait
I love those days that start off on the right foot.
you, with the hair, love it.
remember caruso curlers?!?! with the steam?
or was that just a me thing??
hahaha i love your old lady look with the curlers in! The hair turned out great! I wish i could get my hair to do anything other than be pin-straight. ho-hum. Happy thursday!
I love putting hot rollers in my hair, but HOLY HELL, what time did you get up this morning!? Also, you put your curlers in very neatly - mine always look extremely messy.
Purty! Your hair is so bouncy. I hope the day lives up to your coif!
You know whose hair doesn't do that? Mine! (and probably others). Lucky!!
how cute are you?! love the dress too!
Look at you hot stuff! :)
You know I always support curlers. Pretty!
Your hair looks cute! Wish my hair would curl like that.
I was totally admiring your cute hair (and envying your ability to use steam curlers without scalding yourself)...so funny to see my giant bullfrog after all those pics of pretty :)
If you didn't already have a copy, I'd trade you for hairstyling lessons!!!
Beautiful! And that books sounds interesting! I'm gonna check out Trish's site and put the book on my "to-read" list.
I used to love when my mom curled my hair with her rollers! Your curls look way cute, btw. :)
Oh my gosh, my mom had those curlers! Still does actually! I wish my hair would hold a curl.
My hair would never hold curls like that! But, after I got my hair cut a few weeks ago, I've realized that my stylist did such a great job that I only need to blowdry and not straighten anymore! YES!
Your hair looks great! Being naturally curly, I have never used rollers, but it looks a lot more interesting than hair straightening techniques.
i just myself a new set of curlers and i've been dying to have an opportunity to use them. your curls look great!
Pretty! Do they last all day?
Aw pretty!
You look hot, mamacita!! I definitely agree how having a great hair day can just make everything that much better. Hope the rest of your day is as great!
I'm jealous about the book! I wanna know an author
Your hair looks TOO cute! I'm so jealous! And a cute dress. Definitely makes for a fantastic day!
luckily i don't need curlers, but those do work wonders.
Nothing like good hair to make all in your day a.okay!
Looks good!
I used to have hot rollers just like that and when I had long hair they were great.
You look great and so springy!
Fab hair!!
The hair looks fantastical.
OOOOh pretty.
I think I need some of those.
Love it! I wish I didn't have uncurlable hair. Yes, I just made up a new word - uncurlable.
haha awesome! curlers don't usually do normal things in my hair, but i'll use just a regular curling iron to get ringlets [i think i use a 1"]. i did this for christmas eve, new years eve...super super cute, i thought...:)
Love the old school rollers! They work better than any of the fancy kinds.
Oh, definitely, the older the curlers the better. New ones just don't get very hot! Apparently in the 80s it was totally normal to burn your fingers off while rolling up your hair.
You look hot, lady!
yeah, old school rollers are THE BEST. the ones with the stupid velvet or whatever on them suck big time.
yay for pretty hair!!
Oh, I wish my hair would hold a curl like that--you look fabulous girlie!!
I adore your curls! Looks gorgeous! Maybe I need to get myself some old school steam rollers =)
super cute hair! zomg...i may need to get me some of those...after i finish growing my hair out...*sigh*
i got trish's book the other day too! I just started it yesterday...am absolutely in lurrve :) Can't wait to meet her in May here in DC!
I JUST BOUGHT CURLERS YESTERDAY! Wow. I'm far too excited about this. I just got really excited about loving every strand of my hair tomorrow.
And I will. If it turns out half as awesome as yours did. Have a great weekend Michelle!
Aw aren't you cute! I'm not so sure how my hair would react being in tamed curls. That looks like an intersting book too.
My hair never looks that good. :(
I've ALWAYS wanted to try curlers but can never get it to sit properly... plus may hair just hates me and refuses to hold any sort of curl.
Its super cute though!

Your hair looks great. Way to rock the outfit!
And that book? Funny enough, I was just reading another blog where Trish will be guest blogging next week. AND, I'm in the midst of reading her book, too. Hoping to make headway this weekend!
Fabulous hair! I ordered the book late I think, mine hasn't arrived yet! Soon I hope!
Aren't you just the cutest 50's housewife ever!
so does that mean hot rollers actually work in our pin straight hair? cuz if so i've gotta get me some!
BEAUTIFUL!
Oh and you've been tagged!

YES! The curls are awesome!
Oooh that is fabulous hair!! I wish mine would do that :(
I can't wait to read Trish's book too!
You are just too cute, Michelle!
That's all I have to say. =)
Cute hair! My hair would look like that for about 12 seconds before reverting to it's naturally flat state.
Hey pretty lady! Amazing how great hair can turn the day around, no?
I have hair that is 0.5 in long. Every day is a good hair day for me ;-)
Oooh so pretty!
