It's Hump Day

I say let's all go out and celebrate ;)

So I'm really, REALLY busy today, BUT here is a brief list of things that have made me happy recently:

  • Late night greasy food from McDonald's - god it's been too long.
  • Having the best time I've had in a LONG time Sunday night.
  • Having someone find me sexy again and tell me so.
  • A house warming gift from a co-worker that I will use this week to have a little fun.
  • Gchat convos with my IBFF - scandals, secrets, and other ghetto randomness.
  • Cheap tickets on Skybus.
  • My dad telling me "I'm so proud of you."
  • Catching up with old friends (yay! Josh) over drinks and good food.
  • Finally signing up for cable & internet. Yay for DVR this weekend!!!
  • Having every single person I called in my moment of weakness call me back. Best feeling in the world. Even if they could barely hear me over the blaring jukebox. "You find out who your friends are" - so true.
  • All 73 emails of support and many more comments I have received from my wonderful readers. You guys rock! And yes, someone please start that Facebook group for me.

  • EDIT:: After coming back from the doctor to make sure there were no Muppet remnants... I found out I'm almost at my goal weight without even trying! Hello 120s! That's an excuse for a new wardrobe right? When your pants are falling off?

Awww yayy I'm glad you're doing better already!!

Things will definitely keep getting better and better...I know from experience! My roommate and her bf just broke up and she's having a horrible time. It was a super nice breakup, "we still love each other" kind of thing, which i think is making it soo much harder for her. Sometimes a little (or a lot of) anger is a good thing and can help you move on much easier!!

Thank God for good friends and good food :) :)

You are so cute and it's so nice that you can be grateful for the small things. Not like 73 emails and comments are small things, but you know what I'm saying :)

Just found your blog off of Peter's blog... had to read back a couple months to get your history, and I just have to say, "Hang in there." I went through very much the same thing almost 2 years ago now... and it does get easier.

Enjoyed your blog... I'll definitely be back.

Ooh, happiness. It's 6:41 am here and I want me some early morning greasy food. And yes, definitely calls for a new wardrobe when your pants are falling off. LOL.

I have to second everyone else. It is nice to see you happy. I love a happy Michelle! Not that I didn't love other Michelle, but happy Michelle makes everyone else happy!

It is GREAT to hear that you are feeling good. And it's great that you are taking the time to point out all the little things that make you happy and appreciating them. This will serve you well in the future, so when you are feeling down, just pull up this post and smile!

This is the way to go about a difficult time - making a list of the GOOD things. :) I should do this some time - I'm always looking on the less positives rather than the bright side of life.

What's the point of a break up if you can't buy new clothes?! Do it!

Oh, and I'm assuming IBFF stands for internet best friend (forever), right? I LOVE that!

Hope your Thursday is even better than your Hump Day was!
